We are excited to release new features for both our HRIS and Benefits Administration modules. Additionally, we have made a few enhancements for our Broker partners in our Broker Portal module in our latest release. HRIS Updates

Payroll Integration with ADP Run (HR/Payroll Administrator Profile)

 Flock Product Representation to setup ADP Run Payroll integration with Flock

As part of our continued commitment to added efficiencies to our payroll administrators, Flock is proud to announce our latest payroll integration with ADP RUN. With this integration, admins can sync their employee demographic and benefits deductions in real-time. The integration also supports and helps terming in Flock, automatically passing this data into ADP RUN.

Comprehensive Onboarding Workflow (Admin Profile)

Flock’s new employee onboarding workflow provides a thorough, step-by-step process with added employee info and customized onboarding.

Key improvements include:

  • Clear and extensive flow to capture of setting up employee data (including custom fields) in three simple steps.

  • A single pane to review and select all of the assigned new hire onboarding tasks, including a convenient link to view/edit the specific information of the onboarding checklist.

  • A review of the invitation email to be sent out to the employee and customized to suit the culture of the team.

If the onboarding team would like to customize the invitation email template and onboarding task pre-assignments, they may do so under the Settings->Advanced and Settings-> Onboarding and Offboarding sections, respectively, as shown in the below screenshots.

Time-off Enhancements (Admin Profile)

Time-off policies vary quite a bit from company to company and we continue to update this module based on user feedback. This release includes changes to:

  • Quarterly accrual support

  • Better handling of next calendar year requests

  • Intuitive layout of time-off request history

Spanish language support (Employee Profile)

For our employers that cater to Spanish speaking populations, Flock now provides the ability to easily enable the Spanish translation feature for any employer.

I9 Compliance Enhancements (Employee Profile)

Inline with the language support we now also allow for a translator/preparer to assist with I-9 forms completions for employees.

Benefits Administration Updates

Reporting Enhancements (HR & Ben Admin Profile)

No release is complete without updates to our reporting module. In this release we have added support for:

  • Self-billing report: For our clients with group and voluntary products we now have an easier way to report out the total group wide coverage for each of product and tier combinations.

Note: This report is available in the pre-defined reports section under the Reports->Benefits section.

  • Shortened column headers: We have shortened several of our column headers so that the reports are easier to read

Benefit plan configuration viewable by Admins (HR & Ben Admin Profile)

This allows the benefits admin to understand additional configuration details of their group plans. This helps them feel more empowered and can explain the system behavior to their employees. We are working on adding  more benefit details that will be visible to the Benefits admin in the coming releases.

Additional GI Configurations (For Broker Partners)

Voluntary plans have a variety of rules that need to be supported and often vary from one carrier to another with subtle changes.

  • Voluntary STD/LTD plans now support GI configuration

  • Salary multiple based GI product can now be supported

  • Require EOI for prior enrollment waivers

Additional age calculation support:

Age calculation support for rates and age reduction that apply towards voluntary plans. These includes beginning/end of plan year/month, current age or a fixed date.

Other miscellaneous enhancements:

  • ‘Test your flock’ now has additional support for Voluntary plans dependent rates calculations

  • ‘Test your flock’ support for additional medical plan employer configurations.

  • Disabled dependent dropdown simplification
